Here are mine.....

1. The Old Copper Kettle because it is quaint, offers a quality service and reflects a hint or two of Crowland's history.
2. Spar, because they usually have enough lines to get me sorted.
3. A petrol station around 3 times per week.

I remember the days when you could have a pounds worth.

A pounds worth today would probably get you to the Crowland shops and back home again, but then there is the small problem of going out of Crowlsand to get some more!!!

Of course I mean Crowland but this wine is awfully strong tonight.

Nope, just a moped that holds a couple of litres.

I was very sad to hear of Des Barker's passing. Now that really WAS my favourite shop in Crowland before he retired. As you can see from my profile I thought he was the finest example of food provenance for many miles around.

Especial thoughts for his family at this time.
