Good Morning All

Im just looking for information on the Bridge Inn, The Common, Crowland

Could you possibly let me know if this place is closed still? Also any information on the pub previously do many of you go there what was the food like? etc

Im just asking on behalf of a friend

It has been closed for some time now. Over the years it has had waves of popularity with both local people and non locals. The current economic situation and changes in the law have made the pub business increasingly difficult so it would need a brave soul with deep pockets to resurect it as a pub. There were rumours at one time that it may become a restaurant. Curiously, it has only one ladies loo!

Thanks, Only 1 ladies loo hmm thats not good.

How long has it been closed roughly? i was having a look at the other pubs and the Carpenters is closed too i believe?

Welcome to Crowland Links...

I think it's been closed almost a year now. But the good news is that the George & Angel had a refurb - quite nice, and the meals are reasonable.



PS: how many Ladies' Loos do we need?

More than 1 I would say hehe us ladies go to the loo more than men i would say.

I suppose i cant really ask many more questions if it has been nearly a year closed.

Drove past earlier this evening, sign (outside, not on bank) now has paper message attached "Opening Soon".

Great. i hope it's true. Apparently there is a sign on the new road saying opening next month now too.
