A Young People's Drop In facility opened on Friday 13th November 6pm-8pm in the Snowden Pavillion.

This facility will be run every Friday up to Christmas initially by the South Area Detached Team, part of Lincolnshire County Council Children's Services.

The facility is open for anyone aged 13 to 19 years and will provide somewhere to go and something to do for the young people of Crowland.

Further information is available from Lisa Baker (Detached Youth Development Worker) on 07500096020.

What an excellent idea.

We go to a small town called Newent every year. I suspect its not much bigger then Crowland and they have a drop in centre thats open all year round. They have a large sign on the door that rather cheekly declares "no adults" (there are adult staff at all times)and its set up as a cafe.
