In response to suggestions made a few weeks back, a new category called RESTAURANTS AND RESTAURANT SERVICES has been added in the Crowland Classifieds section.

In addition, all Classifieds now have the added feature whereby you can write a review about ANY services listed and provide it with a Star Rating.

It was felt that the Classifieds Section was the best way to provide Restaurant reviews, rather than just add another category to the Forum. The forum is less formal, and this way, hopefully, we can also help local businesses by adding them to Classifieds.

YOU WILL ONLY SEE THIS FEATURE IN CLASSIFIEDS WHEN YOU ARE LOGGED IN.

It means that Crowlanders can make comment on ALL services listed in Classifieds - also many local businesses are starting to list their services with us - the Forum was deemed not to be the right place for this. If you have a restaurant to recommend, then let us know - we'll list it in the Classifieds Section - then you can add your review.

Since Crowlanders have already made good mention of this new local restaurant, we have added Da Francesco to kick things off. All that remains is that you make your comments and give your rating.

My Daughter and myself popped into Da Fancesco just to see if they did takeaway Pizza. The people were very friendly and we did not have to wait very long for the Pizza, and it tasted yummie. Rock

I agree with Rock the food is superb and I think good value for money.

Well we have been back to the Italian three more times and it is just as good as the first time.

The italian is great we've been 4 or 5 times now since its opened & have had a great meal every time

Any one tried the food yet?

Yes, we've had two meals there. They were very good, not like the Old Bridge Inn, although in my opinion the quality there dropped off in the last year before it closed (understandable in light of the circumstances). The meals are your traditional type of pub fayre - nicely done.

But certainly great effort has gone into turning things around at the G&A. Hope whoever takes on the management permanently, keeps it up.
