Community Playgroup are (ambitiously) organising a Mother's day fundraising event.

Saturday 13th March 2010 at Legion Hall, Broadway.

The day is dedicated to celebrating motherhood. Specifically, the events include:

10:00-12:00 Family Photography with Tempest, children's crafts and competitions and toy sale in the morning.

14:30-16:30 Followed by a very special fashion show featuring Reba an independent clothing boutique in Peterborough in the afternoon, and possibly Edinburgh Woollen Mill as well. Entry is £2 per person. Yummy home-made cakes and refreshments available.

19:00-22:00 The day culminates in an evening event featuring luxurious and pampering gifts. Ladies can come and enjoy mini beauty treatments as well as shop for some beautiful jewellery, candles and accessories. It will be a chance to shop in the company of friends in an informal and relaxed environment, and to treat yourself to something beautiful and sparkly! Entry is £5 per person; visitors can pre-book a ticket and get a free complimentary gift.

The first 30 yrs are the worst...

You can come along to the afternoon and evening bit - shop and buy pretty things, the 'motherhod' bit is purely an excuse to go out and have a good time with the girls!
