Hi, our next event is on the seventeenth of February when we have a return visit by Mr Tony Mitchel-Jones of Natural England whose topic entitled ,The great nut hunt is an update on Dormouse conservation. This elusive little mammal has suffered greatly in recent decades owing mainly to habitat loss. In order to maintain a viable population they do need large areas of woodland with good connectivity known as,Corridoors to allow dispersal and create further colonies,it will be interesting to learn how the little fellows are fairing in our modern environment.
