Road Resurfacing Work Gets Underway

After years of enduring pot-holes, bumps and cracks in the road surface along Chruch Lane and adjoining roads, local residents were pleased to see a complete road resurfacing project get underway.

Contractors working on behalf of Lincolnshire County Council (Boston and South Holland Highways Division), commenced work along a number of roads adjacent to Crowland Abbey.

A local resident, who refused to be named, commented that the work was well overdue as previous attempts to make repairs were inadequate. "They tried to patch it up over the years, but never really made a proper job of it," he said. "Hopefully, this complete resurfacing should put an end to our problems."
