Orthopaedic Massage Therapist

The Coxell Clinic Limited has been operating for many years in Peterborough and Martin Dodsworth L.C.S.P. (Phys) has been in full time practise there since 1986.

Martin is an orthopaedic massage therapist and provides treatment for people suffering with muscle and joint pains and has the skills and experience to help with a wide range of problems, including: sciatica back pain, headaches, neck and shoulder pain, whiplash, knee, ankle and hip pain, repetitive strain injuries, sports injuries.

The treatment is aimed at relaxing muscles that have become tight due to overwork, injury or perhaps emotional stress. Muscles that are relaxed and balanced allow joints to move normally. Various methods of treatment may be used, alone or in combination, including massage, electrotherapy, ultrasound, special gentle stretching techniques, relaxation. Appropriate, gentle exercises may also be recommended.
