Can one of the admins clean up the "venue change" thread as it keeps reporting an invalid thread id error. And I cannot delet it myself as it says i'm not the moderator, even tho I am.

Does "clean up" mean edit/censor? as that is what seems to have happened.

tbh i dont really know its just not displaying the letter any more - i ended up tagging it on the end of GS Hall Hire instead but it should realy be in its own thread and closed for replies.

Basically when i say clean up I mean just delete the thread for me as its not working I tried clicking the chek box and choosing delete but it says Im not a moderator when I am in my own little group bit.

oh i dont know whats going on now i just created a test thread and it also is throwing up invalid thread id error when you try to view it .... hmm

think its to do with the icons for the threads, if i chose an icon (see test and venue change) then display invalid thread id errors) if i leave it blank (see test2 and clean up and GS Hall Hire) its fine :/

I'm sure Cotton bud will be along soon to sort things out,, she's usually very quick and efficient.

Can anyone tel me why parts of my posts were deleted?

Your invalid ID notice is caused by you making posts with the same title "Venue Change" for example. Deleting the post does not remove the URL. It's the conflict in URL causing the problem.

The Venue Change subject was merged with the topic of G.S. Hall. Please don't post "orphan" subjects, when they can be easily included into existing topics.

OR

Use the Announcement Feature in the group section if it is a one-off notification - please do not post to forum.

Same applies to making "test" posts using the same title - please don't

To Casper Mist - I haven't deleted any of your posts - ask the moderator of the Group whether they have - but if they have:

To group forum moderators - please do not delete posts in your group posted by other people unless it violates the forum Terms & Conditions (offensive, abusive etc - you get the picture).

thanks sorry I didnt realize about the Announcement Feature, I will giveit a shot.

Regarding the deletion of posts or parts thereof it was me, I just felt I wasnt being taken seriously and found the 10th Dan Origami thing slightly offensive even tho I did chuckle a bit, but rather than take this up I just thought I'd tidy it up and erase a few unhelpful comments. Hope you didnt mind too much.

You are not the mind police, if that's the way you operate on this site then I'm out of here,
I suggest you take a good look at yourself and consider your actions. I want no part of forum that is monitored and deleted/edited on a whim, by someone who's obviously not mature enough to judge these things.
