Santa's Grotto at Wyevale 1 Month, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 2
Hi everyone

As part of our fund raising efforts each year we provide the staff at the Santa Grotto within Wyevale.

We receive approx half the takings as we provide the staff.

This topic is a request for help.

What we need are Santa's helpers (over 16 please) to take the visitors money and to introduce each child, with parent/guardian, to Santa.

The Grotto is open each weekend from the 22nd November and is staffed on two shifts. The morning shift starts at 11am and finishes at 1.30pm and the afternoon shift starts at 1.30pm and finishes at approx 4.30pm.

The weekends are :

22nd/23rd November
29th/30th November
6th/7th December
13th/14th December
20th/21st December

The times we still need to fill are:
23rd November AM
30th November PM
6th December PM
13th December AM
14th December PM
21st Decmber PM

Please contact me via this forum or by a private message if you would like to help.

hi andy, I'm not volunteering, mind you I was Santa's fairy when i was 15 in the Pborough Co-op! I just thought I would pop in and let you know that I am facepainting at Wyevale on tne 22nd from mid-day so it's nice to know the people staffing the grotto are Crowlanders. i will have to see if i get time to chat to some of them. Mind you, hopefully we will all be very busy.

Hi Barbers Drove

Unfortunatley I will not be there on the 22nd as I have a long standing prior event to go to.

Your right it is good to see Crowlanders getting involved. Wyevale are very keen to get involved in Crowland as the Grotto proves.

You could help us on a another day (cheeky I know but you have to ask!)

As you know I was face painting on the 22nd at Wyevale and again last sunday. I was positioned very near the door where people leave when they have seen Santa. I thought you would be pleased to hear that I have heard several people saying what a good/lovely Father christmas it is.
