Croyland Peat
I am undertaking research on the Fenland's peat, and a book I have (by Skertchly) refers to a location called "St. James's Drove, Croyland".
I assume he means in Crowland, but I am unable to find this location in Google Maps or OS maps.
The only mention I find of a St. James' Drove in Crowland is here: http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/a2a/records.aspx?cat=010-qscam&cid=-1#-1 (about mid-way down the page), but it does not show the location.
Could you help me with finding it?
