As some of you may know I have been unable to do my face and body painting for the past few months due to my back problems...........so...........being stuck at home a lot of the time I decided to try my hand at another arty activitiy.

I've been teaching myself glass painting. it's been great fun, I'm really enjoying it. I've been buying glasses and glassware from the charity shops and washing them in the dishwasher then painting them in festive themes. Yesterday I had a stall at the St Nicholas Fair at the Abbey to try to sell some to raise funds for the Crowland Cancer Fund. I was surprised as it was very successful. I managed to raise £87 so I was very pleased.

I still have quite a lot left so I'm looking for other outlets between now and XMAS (as they are mostly all in the festive style) Any ideas?
